location: the hotel was really close to pedestrian area, all the restaurants with great gastronomy and the bar/cafe which is open all day and evening.

My favourite property in Caceres. Bright and fairly clean place, extremely helpful and attentive staff in explaining things in English. Good food in the restaurant, full size breakfast with especially the local pastries and the local pastries, as example...
Beds were too hard.

Everything was as fine as I expected from a Spanish Parador
I preferred old atmosphere of once but I think hotel renovation is quite nice and up to date

Would recommend for a short stint
Comfortable room, attentive staff, who quickly assisted us with our needs, including fast wi-fi and convenient luggage storage throughout our stay.
Nothing I didn't like.

Historic past with the best of modern design.
Facilities closed earlier than advertised.

Excellent location in the centre of this beautiful town. A lovely old building with a nice garden, where one can have breakfast seated under an old chestnut tree. Friendly staff. Good food.
In the recent renovation the interior was modernized a bit too much to my taste.

Beautiful old monastary right in the centre of the superb city of Caceres. The hotel has recently undergone a very extensive and no doubt very expensive renovation and generally this is very effective, although I couldn't help feeling that some of the old character has been lost along the way. Our room was quiet and comfortable and the buffet breakfast excellent.
The very first time I have checked into a hotel to find that the hotel rates did not match those on my Booked.net reservation - they wanted another 70 euros per night! To be fair this was resolved in our favour without too much argument (and with good humour), but nevertheless ..... Bedrooms are now designer luxe rather than historic, with all the annoying currently trendy fittings such as basins that you can't put a plug in , etc. But these are minor quibbles, its basically a lovely hotel.

My best decision yet!
Choosing this hotel was a highlight of my trip! The beautiful historic building, combined with a cozy breakfast in the garden terrace. The friendly assistance with parking and a comfortable room were just cherries on top. A captivating experience in a fine location! Can't wait to return.

An excellent hotel in a good location with fine facilities.
The reception staff was unwelcoming and checking-in was tedious

Staying with our large family was superb! We enjoyed amazing views of the convent while savoring the excellent breakfast spread that included unique local dishes and pastries. The children's smiles while choosing from so many options made our mornings extra special.
My kids wished for more outdoor play areas.

This place was a proper fit for a date night in Caceres with good price-value balance. The little window in the bathroom overlooking a medieval alley was a standout feature, giving it an unexpected charm. Make sure to enjoy the extensive breakfast spread-it's worth it.

would book again
The rooms were spacious with air conditioning, a tv, and a minibar. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the luxurious bath amenities in the private bathroom. The restaurant had outdoor dining with local delicacies like Torta del Casar. The super nice team with parking tips around the bustling old town. Breakfast had a huge selection.

Great stay in a charming area
We had a lovely 2-night stay. The staff was super friendly and helped us find nearby free parking. The location is surrounded by gorgeous old buildings, perfect for exploring. Breakfast was a highlight with tasty Spanish meats, but the room could use some updating. It was a pleasant experience.
